The Mazak OPTIPLEX Ez is an entry-level 2D fiber laser-cutting system designed to combine dependable cutting performance with simplified operation and maintenance. Available with 6kW or 8kW laser power, the OPTIPLEX Ez delivers efficient processing across thin- to medium-gauge materials, making it an ideal solution for manufacturers entering the laser-cutting market or expanding their current capabilities.

Large sliding doors on the front and side of the machine provide convenient access to the cutting area while minimizing the floor space required for door operation. On the OPTIPLEX 4220 Ez, the side door can be opened from either the left or right, making it easier for operators to load raw material and remove finished parts.

The MAZATROL SmoothLx CNC control features a large 21.5-inch touchscreen that allows operators to view nesting layouts clearly and zoom in or out using familiar touchscreen gestures. Its intuitive flat-panel design, pictograms, and one-touch access to cutting conditions simplify daily operation for users of varying experience levels.

The rotating and tilting CNC control panel allows operators to work comfortably from either the front or side of the machine. Built-in assist functions also guide operators through essential setup tasks, including nozzle-center checks and automatic nozzle changes, helping reduce setup time and support consistent machine performance.
