This type of automation enables a firm to process, in the most efficient manner, these miscellaneous shapes by going from stock length material to finished parts in one automated CNC operation. The Ficep systems typically eliminate the manual layout operations and automate material handling, production of holes, notches, part marking and cutting the finished part to length!
The Ficep family of CNC controlled angle lines includes systems with a roller feed drive and measuring system. The roller feed system is often used by structural steel fabricators who process shorter detail parts. The “HP” and “XP” models are generally employed in those applications where longer parts with a higher degree of accuracy is required such as the fabrication of towers. All the Ficep angle line products are based upon a Windows-based CNC control which is provided with the proprietary Ficep software that permits remote troubleshooting with an internet connection.
